JCU 2019 Business Excellence Awards

The third edition of the Cairns Business Excellence Awards brought to you by James Cook University will continue to be the region’s leading honors for business achievement. The event was held on Saturday 15 June 2019 at the Pullman Cairns International.

During the past two years, the outstanding achievements of a wide range of organisations and individuals have been acknowledged, regardless of size or industry. To attain recognition, organisations and individuals are assessed across a set of criteria that underscore commitment to not only sustaining bottom line results but to the superiority of service, commitment to customers, ethical behaviour and environmental sustainability.

The ten-awards showcase business excellence and acknowledge outstanding business practices and contributions to our community in the Cairns region. This year there will be 9 awards for organisations and 2 awards for individuals.

ASR Collision Specialists win customer service award.

MTA Queensland are proud to announce another accolade for 2016 MTA Queensland Innovation Award winners, ASR Collision Specialists in Cairns.

On Saturday 15th June 2019, the Cairns Chamber of Commerce held the Cairns Business Excellence Awards.

These Awards are described by the Chamber as being the ‘Premier Business Awards in Far North Queensland’ and are designed to celebrate business success in the Cairns region.

ASR Collision Specialists were nominated for these awards in March and in May they were advised as being one of ten finalists out of 28 nominees.

On the Awards night, ASR Collision Specialists were named Winners of the Trade Customer Service Excellence Award for 2019.

MTA Queensland member, ASR Collision Specialists win was based on their ability to balance all stakeholder interests when repairing cars.

Garry Gilholm, from ASR, gave an acceptance speech and spoke about how the repair process is a journey for the customer and how they put in every effort to make it a pleasant journey.

ASR are sharing the Award with all of their staff and are very proud of the win. They intend on using the Award to continue to aim higher and exceed expectations of customers.
